Bryan Mancuso and Whissel Realty were absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire house hunting and escrow process. Prior to meeting Bryan and the other members of Whissel Realty, I first started my home search with a different real estate agent. This real estate agent was a friend of friend so I thought I was in good hands. However, as the search continued, I couldn’t be more wrong. I would often not hear from them and had to do a lot of the research on properties by myself. Being first time home buyer this was extremely frustrating because I was behind the curve and missed a lot of opportunities when it came to potentially great homes. I went to an open house in which Bryan was showing. Bryan talked to me for about an hour or so. During the course of our conversation Bryan was extremely knowledgeable about today's housing market and his experience in real estate clearly showed. Bryan took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me new insight into the world of real estate. I gave Bryan my contact information and proceeded about my day. I could tell Bryan knew that I was serious about buying a property and saw how frustrated I was about missed opportunities. Bryan called me a couple of days after meeting him at the open house. Bryan reached out to me and said he had a couple properties he wanted to show me. He explained that Whissel Realty can often get the inside scoop on properties not yet listed on the market. Due to not being satisfied with my current real estate agent, I gave Bryan a shot. Bryan kept his word, exceeded my expectations and continued to be extremely proactive in trying to find me the perfect home. Bryan quickly went from some guy I met at an open house to my real estate agent. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, I had met with Bryan multiple times a week in which he would show me newly listed properties. I would say that Bryan showed me well over 25 properties throughout the entire home buying process. Bryan was always very patient, honest, up front, and understanding even with numerous bumps and hiccups along the way. Not once did I feel pressured working with Bryan. During our search Bryan showed me the perfect townhome in Mission Valley. I walked in and immediately felt at home. It was the perfect house that met all my needs. This house was the first one that we had submitted an offer on. Unfortunately our offer was not accepted and the sellers chose to start the escrow process with another buyer. I was extremely disappointed but Bryan did not give up. Bryan continued to follow up regarding this specific property and give me updates regarding the current status along the way. After doing his research, Bryan informed me that the first buyer of my dream property had actually fallen through with their funding and the property was mine if I still wanted it. Without hesitation I said of course I wanted the property and the escrow process had begun. Throughout the entire process Bryan constantly kept me informed and took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks to Bryan and the rest of the Whissel Realty team, not once during the entire homing buying process did I feel stressed out or overwhelmed. In closing, being both a veteran and a Law Enforcement Officer, I constantly get lied to on a day to day basis. The last thing you want to experience is getting lied to or manipulated when it comes to your personal affairs. Whissel Realty was extremely open, honest and transparent during this entire process. Normally, I would not even bother to take the time to write a review but I complied to write one as it’s the least I can for Bryan and the rest of Whissel Realty for all of their hard work and dedication in finding me my first home. I will continue to let other family, friends, and coworkers know about Bryan and Whissle Realty. People are really doing themselves a disservice if they choose to go with any other real estate company besides Whissle Realty. When it comes down to it, if you want someone who's going to be on your side and get you into your dream home go with Bryan Mancuso.
