I cannot express how much I would recommend Joel Schneider of Whissel Realty to anyone who is in the market to purchase a home.

My husband and I met Joel at an open house. He was kind, easy going and most importantly for us, not pushy at all. He gave us our space to peruse the property at our own pace. We chatted a bit and he seemed genuinely interested in what our needs were and what we were looking for. After looking at several open houses on our own, we decided that we needed representation and felt really good about giving Joel a call to represent us in our journey to purchase a home. Funnily enough, he already had a list of homes ready that met our specifications when we called!

Joel is both a golden retriever and a shark - and by that I mean he is probably the kindest person you will ever meet, yet absolutely formidable when it's necessary and the situation calls for it. As first time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions. Joel was very transparent and managed expectations very well throughout the whole process (even when he had less than stellar news to deliver). No question was too stupid or too much.

His expert guidance and industry knowledge made the potentially tumultuous process of buying a house in the 2024 climate smoother than we had anticipated. He made sure we were empowered with all the knowledge we needed to move forward with purchasing our house and went to bat for us every single time. He was also super available and responsive - anything and everything we had a question about, he had an answer for.

The office he works for also has a lot of great benefits - including a free moving truck not just on your moving day, but whenever you need to use it! This was a great touch and proved very useful several times for us.

We felt listened to, cared for and ultimately, he pulled out all the stops to secure us our dream home. We truly can't imagine working with anyone else for this purchase, or for any of our future needs. Joel is truly a standout in his field and we are very lucky to have crossed paths with him.
